Grandma Amy bought a new rug just so Malia has something soft to play on when it's Grandma Amy day. Yay!

First Cool Morning

Malia got her nose stints out on Wednesday. She's doing very well and playing and eating as much as ever. Here she is wearing a sweater and heading to the park with her Gem'a on the first cool morning we've had in Austin in a long long time.

Recovering from Cleft Lip and Ear Tubes Surgery

Malia got through the surgery like a pro. She even drank a whole bottle of Pedialyte/Apple Juice in the recovery room which apparently has never been seen at that hospital before. :) She did develop a little fever in the afternoon, but Tylenol took care of it. She stayed over one night in the hospital and we took her home the next day. Her ears were full of puss and gunk from being infected too, poor baby! The ear tubes will help her so much. She is feeling much better and is as active as ever. She gets her nose stints out this afternoon. Yay! We are hoping to schedule the palate surgery right after Christmas. We'll see.

Lip Operation and Ear Tubes Tomorrow Morning

We are leaving very early in the morning for a 5:45am check in at Dell Children's Hospital. Malia's procedures start at 7:00am. Here are some pictures from Sunday morning at Galveston.
