Since Alex, Oscar and Hobo are participating in the paper work preparation, I'm including their pictures in this post. The paper chase continues. :)

We met with our Adoption Social Worker last night. She toured our house and asked us questions like "What will you do if you don't bond with the child?" "Why did you decide to adopt from China?" "Do you know other people who have adopted or who have been adopted?" Next, we will each meet with her individually to talk about our lives and what is was like growing up in our respective families. We also have to collect these documents for her:

1. Birth certificates for all family members
2. Marriage license
3. Medical exams
4. Employment letters
5. Financial statement, pay stub, monthly budget, and last years tax return
6. Documentation of insurance (face sheets): medical, life, auto, and homeowners
7. Local police reports
8. A letter from Alex's doctor stating he is free of communicable disease
9. Oscar and Hobo's immunization records.
