Alex's Not Bummer Summer Day with Gem'a and G-dad

Alex didn't have any friends today at summer camp, so Mom let him come home. Lucky for Alex, his Gem'a and G-dad happened to be in town today and jumped at the chance to spend a fun day with Alex.

1st Surgery Scheduled

Malia will be getting lip surgery and ear tube surgery all in one on September 9. She has fluid in her ear canals which is expected in almost all cleft palate patients. The palate surgery will be in November or December.

We joined our neighborhood July 4th parade, though it was so hot at 9:00am when the parade began, we bailed after a few blocks. =) Malia did get to meet some of our neighborhood friends before we skedaddled for air conditioning.



I'm also attaching some cute pictures of Malia at the Austin Children's Museum. We went to Emelia Coffey's 2nd birthday party there last weekend.
